Expert Consulting for the Forensic Nurse: March/April 2025

The forensic nurse has specialized training and experience providing medical forensic care for victims of violence. This expertise may be requested by lawyers needing consultation from a forensic nurse. This course is designed for the experienced forensic nurse interested in consulting with lawyers on cases within the nurse’s area of expertise.

This training will be held over three days:
March 12th  6:00pm-8:00pm EST
March 26th  6:00pm-8:00pm EST
April 2nd       6:00pm-8:00pm EST

The cost of the training is $300.00

Outcomes:

• Learner will have increased knowledge of communicating with attorneys on forensic cases.
• Learner will have increased knowledge of reviewing forensic cases and creating reports.
• Learner will have increased knowledge of court testimony on forensic cases.

5.75 nursing contact hours will be available.

Criteria for awarding nursing credit hours:

• Commensurate with participation
• Completion of evaluation each day

Forensic Nursing Network Inc. is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Ohio Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
