How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Deliver Direct Patient Care: Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients, operating fully within your scope of license and under the guidance of a Registered Nurse or Physician.
• Contribute to Patient Assessment: Actively participate in the assessment process, continuously monitoring and ensuring the comfort, dignity, and well-being of every patient.
• Medication Administration: Safely administer prescribed medications and meticulously observe patients for any potential reactions, serving as a vigilant advocate for patient safety.
• Execute Therapeutic Services: Perform essential laboratory tests and deliver vital therapeutic services that support the overall treatment plan.
• Empower Patients & Families: Serve as a trusted educator, providing comprehensive information to patients and their families regarding their disease treatment plan, holistic self-care post-discharge, and connection to available community resources and follow-up care.
  
  

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. OK or KS state licensure required relevant to where the employee works. Knowledge and skill in writing prescriptions for the Physician as needed.
  
  

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
  

What Additional Preferences We're Seeking

Minimum 2 years nursing experience with direct patient care, ambulatory clinic experience preferred, Neurosurgery experience desired.

Must be motivated, a team player able to work independently and with groups, learn from peers, excellent communication skills required (written and verbal), must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be highly organized. Prefer experience with Cerner, Athena, Google applications
